The administration of Caritas of Archdiocese of Kigali would like to inform all fellows and other Rwandans with a helping heart of those in need, that August in a month of love and mercy. The administration of the Catholic Church in Rwanda will facilitate Christians in particular and other people with a helping heart to mobilize funds and harvest to help those in need. Everyone is urged to contribute in order to take part in that love and mercy action.
Everyone with a loving and merciful heart can take his/her contribution to the nearest Caritas catholic parish. Those who live in Kigali city can take their contribution to Saint Paul center near Saint famille Parish. The contribution might be money, food, household appliance, good clothes and anything that can be useful to the ones in need to have a better life.
Besides what has been mentioned above, there are other acts of charity that are organized like visiting sick people, helping refugees, orphans, elderly people, paying school fees and school materials for students who cannot afford, paying health insurance and helping those who faced natural disasters…. All these people need assistance and to show them that God still love them and we haven’t forgotten about them.

Brethren let us remember the Gospel when Jesus said: “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” (Matthew25:35-36). Saint Paul also said “Lucky is the giver than the receiver”.(Acts 20:35)
